Working Together: A Collaborative Process
I help active adults find a sustainable way forward when they feel stuck on their healing and wellness journeys.
Using a targeted approach to help build momentum, we’ll chart an effective, manageable course toward the real-life outcomes you want.
We need to be intentional about addressing the right pieces at the right time and in the right sequence so you get lasting, positive results as quickly, safely, and easily as possible.
Our work together doesn’t have to be long-term. With the proper focus, we can often get a lot accomplished in a relatively short amount of time (depending on the nature and complexity of the issue), and those benefits tend to generalize to other areas.

My Background: Occupational Therapy
As an occupational therapist, I’ve enjoyed over 25 years of teaching people practical strategies to engage in their daily life activities in ways that feel good to them, even when they’re dealing with physical or mental health challenges or the aftermath of traumatic life events.
My clinical experience includes working in hospital, outpatient, home, and community settings throughout Philadelphia with people from varied cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.
Specialty areas include chronic pain, life-altering injuries & illnesses (including cancer), mental health and trauma, cognitive functioning, neurological conditions, and caregiver concerns.
My Background: Expansion into Integrative Health
Over time and across various settings, I noticed a pattern: some people got stuck in their recovery process even though they were doing everything they were supposed to do.
They struggled with issues such as unexplained symptoms, lingering emotional triggers, and difficulty breaking unwanted habits despite a strong desire to do so. Many times, standard medical care and/or counseling didn’t resolve these issues, and those people continued to suffer.
Then I had this exact experience myself. All medical tests were normal, yet my symptoms were severe. Despite my best efforts, recommended treatments and therapies had little to no effect.
During my search for a solution, I found that clinical Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT tapping), acupressure, and the John Barnes myofascial release method all helped break the grip of my symptoms by addressing key underlying issues that were affecting recovery and wellness. Because these methods helped me so profoundly, I pursued professional training in each and incorporated them into my work.
